What started as a fun excuse to make baked goods and share them with neighbors turned into a growing passion for serving the community. In 2022, Tonetta’s Bakery was created by owner Alyssa Tonetti, who was born and raised in King George, Virginia. Alyssa has always had a niche for baking, and has been found around food or helping out in the kitchen since she was barely walking.

In 2025, Alyssa wanted to create a stronger brand for her business, matching her efforts to further grow her bakery. In 2025, Loads of Loaves became known as Tonetta’s Bakery, a unique name that would also signify brand growth and authenticity. Creating a new business image has also allowed Alyssa to bake more than just cake loaves, enabling her to start a line of cinnamon rolls and sourdough breads.

Currently, Tonetta’s Bakery holds a well-known presence at the King George Farmer’s Market and annual Fall Festival. As the bakery continues to grow, we are excited to venture out to different events and share our baked goods with even more customers!
